Our day began with me dropping Sarah off at Moor Hall to hook up with the boys and cover their morning preparations. Then, a quick drive down the A38 got me to Louise’s parents home in Castle Bromwich, to stay with the ladies until they left for the church. St Mary & St Margarets Church is a really lovely old red-brick building with a splendid interior that has plenty of light. The rector was happy for us to pretty much anything we needed to, so Sarah took position up in the choir’s balcony while I stayed right at the front, hiding in the pews.
This was a particularly nice service and for Louise it was a return to the church she’d sang in for during her teens. Outside, once we had the family groups and a few shots of Louise and Graeme on their own, everybody headed off for Moor Hall Hotel for the reception.
We’re booked in for a few more weddings at Moor Hall over the next 18 months or so, but this was our first visit and we were very happy with the place. Lots of space, lovely grounds, good food and attentive staff – it’s a venue we look forward to working at again.
So as usual, we have about 60 ‘sneek peek’ pictures here from Louise and Graeme’s big day. The rest of the set will be available to view in our Client Area once the couple have returned from their honeymoon in The Maldives.
