On Saturday we ventured into rural Worcestershire for Amy and Chris’ big day. The church they’d chosen was St Mary the Virgin (sometimes known as Hanbury Church) which is in a fantastic location overlooking the surrounding countryside. Their reception was held at a local gastro-pub – The Queens Head Inn.
Our day started with me dropping Sarah off in Droitwich to spend the morning with Chris and groomsmen. I then met up with Amy at her parents’ house just outside Bromsgrove. So, not much driving to be done and plenty of time for everything. The weather forecast was pretty horrendous for later in the day but we literally *just* got away with getting the ‘couple photos’ done before the first drops of rain fell.
We were very impressed with the Queens Head Inn, a lovely ‘pub’ that strikes a nice balance between traditional and contemporary. The wedding breakfeast provided for Amy and Chris’ was fabulous (we know it was fabulous because we got the lot!).
So a big thank-you to Amy and Chris for asking us to photograph their fantastic day and for looking after us so well. As usual we have a number of ‘sneek peak’ images here. The full set will be available for the guests to see once the couple have returned home from they honeymoon in Mexico.

What a wonderful day. I’m still dreaming about it ….. Fabulous photos (and this is only the ‘sneak preview’???) Can’t wait to see the rest of them.

Just a quick note to thank you both for such an amazing job you have done on our photos. Both Amy and I could not be happier with the results and now have an amazing photo book, photo and canvas to keep forever, both to remember our wedding day and to remind us that we made the right choice in our photographers.
You were both so professional and easy to work with, gave us space to spend time with our guests and still got hundreds of amazing photos that we are proud and eager to show as many people as possible.
I have to say that the pre-shoot was an amazing touch, which allowed Amy and I to get very comfortable in front of the camera and that lesson showed in the photos during the day.
Thanks again and I hope that your wedding day runs as smoothly as ours did.
