Charlotte booked us about a year ago after seeing our work at a wedding fayre, where she was modelling wedding dresses.  They get married in May at the fabulous Mallory Court near Leamington Spa and we met up with them over the weekend for their pre-wedding photo session.

Previously, we’ve only worked at Mallory during the winter but in the late-afternoon spring sunshine the grounds look completely different and there are photo opportunities galore.  Here’s a few pictures from the session:

Hogarth’s is one of our very favourite local venues and we always find it a pleasure to work there. Which, is probably a good thing since we’re there quite often (3 times in one week last year!). We met up with Nicki and Andy early one evening for their pre-wedding shoot and as luck would have it, the weather was glorious and the light perfect.

Nicki and Andy will be getting married in June and we’ll be showing a collection of those pictures here on the blog as usual, but for now, here’s a few from their pre-wedding shoot.

Although our *really busy* season starts next weekend, we’ve been using the last couple of months to book in as many couples for their pre-wedding shoots as possible.

The pre-wedding photo session is included with our all-day coverage and it’s usually held a few weeks ahead of the wedding itself.  It gives us chance to work with the couple for an hour and for them to get used to the way we do things.  Think of it as a practice session for the part of the wedding day when we’ll have the couple alone.  It gives them confidence and also means we can pick up things that work – and don’t work – well with those particular individuals.  The main thing though, is that it’s a bit of fun, away from any pressures and it means the couple know what to expect on the big day.

Emma and Drew are getting married later this month and we met up with them at Avoncroft Museum for their pre-wedding photo session a couple of weeks ago.  Avoncroft is Emma’s place of work and of course is also the venue Sarah and I will be getting married at in October next year!

Despite the rain trying it’s best to spoil the day, we had a terrific pre-wedding photo session with Peter and Rachael who will be getting married in August.
