September was by far our busiest month to date, with a total of eight wedding bookings.  The very first of these was Donna and Phil, a couple very local to us who got married at the Headley Heath New Life Centre followed by a reception at Hogarth’s in Dorridge.

The last of our August weddings saw us return to another of our favourite venues – the lovely Wroxall Abbey Estate in rural Warwickshire.  Here’s a few sots from Vanessa and Ricky’s big day.

Since the wedding fayre season is almost upon us, I thought it was about time to announce those fayres we’ll be exhibiting at.

This season we’ll be at a total of eight fayres, some at venues we know well, others we’re exhibiting at for the first time.  At each fayre we’ll have our full range of demo books on show along with all the other products we supply.  And of course, we’ll be on hand to chat about how we work.

The second wedding of this August weekend was held at the Ramada Hotel near Kidderminster.  Peter and Rachael booked us at one of the earliest wedding fayres we exhibited at and we did terrific pre-wedding shoot with them recently to help them prepare for the things we’d do on the big day.

Despite the registrar being overly-restrictive on photography during the ceremony (why are some like this? it’s so unnecessary), everything fell into place resulting in a relaxed and enjoyable day for everyone.   However when it came to the first dance there was a problem playing the CD containing their chosen song, so frantic attempts were made to download it from the internet before the dance could commence.  So – hint to future brides and grooms – always bring a spare copy of the CD!

So here then is a small preview of images from Peter and Rachael’s wedding.  The rest will be made available in our Client Area once the couple have received their presentation.

Stephanie and Garry’s wedding was the first of two we photographed that weekend, so early on Friday morning we went just over the Warwickshire/Northamptonshire border to Braunston where the wedding was to be held.  After the ceremony everybody headed to the fabulous Fawsley Hall for the reception.
