Despite the rain, we saw a good turnout for today’s fayre run by Vanessa Bradford of Observer Standard Newspapers.  We had a nice, steady flow of people but enough time to chat properly.  Thank you to everyone who made the effort to attend today and especially to those who came to look at our work.

A couple of weekends ago we booked in three more of our clients for their pre-wedding shoots.  We went back to our favourite haunt of Earlswood as it gives us lots of different setup possiblities, differering light conditions and importantly – very few other people around.

Our pre-wedding shoots are intended to be a practice run for the part of the wedding day when we take the bride and groom off to do the photos of them alone.  As time is often pressing, this session is great for the couple and ourselves to get to know each other a little.  But more importantly, we run through the basic things we’ll do on the big day so we don’t waste any time.  Just about all of our clients who’ve had their pre-wedding shoot say it’s given them more confidence of what will be expected of them and makes them feel a lot happier about how they appear in their photos.

So here then is a small selection.  A big thank-you to Sarah & Raymond, Emma & Richard and Corrina & Steve.

This weekend we again were working a venue that was new to us – Berrow Court, in Edgbaston.  Jenny and Gary booked us at the end of last year after meeting us at a wedding fayre and with sunny and warm weather they were married on Saturday.

As usual we’re showing a small selection of pictures from the wedding.  The rest will be available to view once the couple have returned home from their honeymoon.
