Michael & Susan 26th July 2008
August 16th, 2008
Hot sunny days are never the easiest of conditions in which to take photographs. Not only are you dealing with your own discomfort at having to haul around and work with heavy gear in the heat, but there’s also the harsh lighting, huge differences in contrast to deal with, to say nothing of people’s faces squinting in the sun!
Mike and Susan’s wedding took place on the hottest day of the year so far. These kind of conditions mean we have to alter the way we work a little bit. Rather than do the family group shots immediately after the service, we delayed them to the early evening. This meant people were more comfortable and the light was much more pleasant to look at and to photograph.
