post Lake District wedding with Documentary Image, 10th May

May 31st, 2008

Filed under: Weddings — admin @ 1:25 pm

Both Sarah and I have in the past, attended training courses from the inspirational Morag MacDonald who runs Documentary Image in Bristol. I was very happy to to help out then, when Morag asked if I was available to be the second-shooter at a wedding in the beautiful village of Ambleside in the Lake District. After a very comfortable night at the Chapel House B&B, Morag’s assistant Jo Webster and I got to work on what turned out to be a tiring, but thoroughly enjoyable day.

Many thanks again to Morag and Jo.

post Short break in Hunstanton

May 26th, 2008

As we’re about to start with this season’s weddings, we took a few days off last week and spent them in Hunstanton, on the Norfolk coast, for a bit of a break before the ensuing madness of summer. Weather was great and the puppy loved her first experience of the sea!

Puppy power!

Contemplating life

Hunstanton is rather unique in that it sits on the east coast, but actually faces west across The Wash. The fantastic white & red chalk cliffs face into the sunset which makes for some great photography!

We stayed at the cosy Cori House B&B and were made very welcome by the owner, Stuart. The breakfasts were legendary!

OK, back to work!
